picnik

So as i said in my first blog, i LOVE art! and one aspect of art that i just can't get enough of is photography. taking pictures, adding effects, ect. Picnik is a site that lets you edit your photos without downloading anything to your computer. Here are a few of my favorie pieces :)

Ashley, Kim, and I on our girls night out :)

Ashley, Daniela, and I, homecoming 2008 :)

My niece, Chloe, watching karlin play baseball. She loves him and i think it's adorable.

Chloe was the reason we took the kids trick-or-treating, and she turned out being sick on the day. But we took her along anyways! :)

My nephew, Laif, at the church on Halloween.

My neices and nephew, Laif (happy clown), Gabby (poodle skirt girl), Chloe(sad clown), and Chelsea (nurse).

I will be on picniking more during school and i will add more as i edit more. Next on my to-do list, is pictures of karlin and i.:)

prom

Prom is awhile away, but my friend hali posted some possible prom dresses and it got my SUPER excited!! The best part of prom is picking out my dress. And since last year i spent wayy to much, this year i'm hoping to fall in love at a bit of a cheaper price! Here are some that i am looking at. And i know there's a lot, but hey, i AM a girl who changes her mind, often!:)

i love them all, but the first two are probably my faves right now:)

And i am sure i will change my mind, so i'll keep you updated with what i like, and eventually, what i get!! :):):)

portfolio

So as i was looking for a college that suits me and my interest in art, i came across the school of advertising art. saa is located in kettering, ohio, and it is thee most amazing school, EVER! but, to go there i must have a portfolio... and since i started art this year, i have to bust my butt to get pieces for my portfolio done. I already have drawings (pencil), and i need charcol, water colors, paint, oil pastels, and chalk pastels. All of these are mediums that i am verryyy inexperienced with. So, I am testing things out and it's all going good. Here are some of the pictures that i plan to, well will attempt to, draw. Tell me what you think would be a strong picture for my portfolio!:)
This one is one of my favorite. i absolutely LOVE the angle!
